yyc/lrt skull
The skull motif, part of my stencil lexicon, was drawn from an inspirational visit to the Ruben Museum in New York City. This image relates to my study of the Tibetan Book of the Dead and its relevance in how I try to LIVE my life. My Skull and Double Dragon renderings were inspired by an light installation by Shezad Dawood title Wrathful Activity, Fierce Energy featured at the Ruben Museum. Each stencil I use for my underpainting process was directly plasma torch cut into YYC/LRT, I kept the cut-outs and reconstituted them back into the Double-Dragon, essentially you could own a piece of the oldest C-Train carriage in existence of the original Siemens-Duewag U2 series that launched in 1981; a piece of Calgary Heritage.
Please note: Shipping fees are not included in the purchase of original artwork. Shipping and installation can be agreed upon before or after purchase. I have more original artwork for sale. If you would like to see this or other pieces in person or virtually, please email me to schedule a viewing.
